My name is Devin Fitzgerald and I’ve dedicated my life to veterinary medicine, starting at an animal hospital at 16 and eventually co-owning a successful veterinary practice in Colorado with my wife, whom I met in vet school. Together, we built and grew the clinic over more than a decade. While we loved the work, we also saw firsthand how the pressures of running a practice could impact not just business success but also the well-being of veterinarians and their teams.

During my time as a veterinarian and practice owner, I also worked as a financial advisor, helping veterinarians with financial planning and retirement. Additionally, I collaborated with a veterinary valuation company, gaining insight into practice value, profitability, and long-term financial success. These experiences reinforced my passion for guiding clinics toward sustainable growth.

That’s why I founded Kiwi Veterinary Consultants—to help clinics thrive without sacrificing work-life balance. With expertise in financial management, clinic efficiency, and customer experience, I provide practical strategies to improve operations, increase profitability, and create sustainable success.

Now, based in New Zealand with my wife and two daughters, I’m passionate about helping veterinary professionals build practices that are both financially strong and personally fulfilling.
